Terms of Service

1. Scope of Service

These terms govern the sale of marine parts (including but not limited to bolts and structural components), the rental of hatches/equipment, and the provision of rig maintenance and management services by BACKHOE.

2. Quotations and Orders

All quotes are valid for 30 days due to fluctuating maritime logistics costs. An order is only considered "Final" once technical specifications for the vessel or rig have been verified by our engineering team.

3. Equipment Rental (Hatches & Gear)

• Condition: All rented equipment is inspected and certified before dispatch.
• Liability: The client assumes full responsibility for the equipment once it is delivered to the specified vessel or port.
• Maintenance: Unauthorized repairs on rented hatches or tools are strictly prohibited.

4. Rig Maintenance & Management

Service visits are subject to offshore safety clearance. BACKHOE reserves the right to delay service if environmental conditions or rig safety standards do not meet ISO 9001:2015 safety requirements.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we guarantee 99.8% parts accuracy, BACKHOE is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from vessel downtime, provided the parts supplied met the OEM specifications requested at the time of order.
